In order that this partnership can work effectively, each party must be supportive and committed to work in the best interests of all concerned.
The aim of the contract is to:

Improve links between school and home

Raise standards of achievement

Combat poor behaviour if this exists
For Parents

Supporting the school in the standards it seeks to achieve by helping your child to take an interest in his/her work

Taking part in regular discussions about your child's progress, attitude and behaviour as mutually agreed times and keeping abreast of any home/school communications

Assuring punctuality, regular attendance and ensuring your child is dressed appropriately and has the necessary equipment for school activities
For the School

Keeping parents regularly informed, providing you with the opportunity to express your views on school matters, encouraging you to participate in all aspects of school life and informing you at an early stage so that you may discuss any matters relating to your son/daughter

Providing a safe, well-ordered and caring environment

Having clear aims and objectives for all pupils relating to their course of study and demonstrating that each pupil is an individual
For the Pupil

Behaving well as outlined in the School Behaviour & Discipline Policy, while in school or on school visits and trying your best to get on with others in school

Working to the best of your ability

Taking pride in your own appearance by wearing our school uniform, attending regularly and being on time to school and lessons

Completing home activities given by the school, e.g. reading, tables etc and being responsible for passing on information between school and home
